Avocado is rich in vitamins, essential fatty acids, and minerals that will restore shine to the hair, and the avocado mask is made by mashing a ripe avocado with an egg, putting it on wet hair, leaving it for 20 minutes, and then rinse it several times, repeating this recipe once a week for damaged hair, and once a month for healthy hair.


The mask can also be prepared by mixing a mashed avocado bean with two tablespoons of olive oil, jojoba oil, or wheat germ oil, and applying it to damp hair for a quarter to half an hour


 Butter 


Butter is used to treat dry and brittle hair and add shine to it, dry hair is massaged with a small amount of butter, then the hair is covered with a shower cap for about half an hour, then washed with shampoo.


 Olive oil 


Olive oil is useful for hair as it contains antioxidants that remove harmful radicals from the surface of the hair and scalp, as harmful radicals contribute to premature aging, so protecting the hair with antioxidants helps prevent hair loss, and olive oil is also a moisturizer, which means that it penetrates the scalp better than any other type of oil, and this means healthy and shiny hair.


The hair can be moistened by heating half a cup of olive oil, then rubbing the hair with it, covering it with a plastic bag, then wrapping a towel around it, leaving it for about 45 minutes, and then washing it with shampoo.


 Apple cider vinegar 


Apple cider vinegar helps to strengthen the protein in the hair, rubbing the hair with a mixture consisting of a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, four teaspoons of olive oil, and three egg whites, then covering it with plastic wrap for half an hour, then washing it off with shampoo.


Vegetable oils


 A few drops of sandalwood oil, olive oil, or jojoba oil are mixed, and the oils are rubbed into the palms, applied to the ends of the hair, and can be applied to the entire damaged hair.


Good vitamins for dry hair 


Some vitamins help moisturize dry hair, including:

Vitamin A: dry hair is evidence of vitamin A deficiency, this vitamin supports the action of the keratin protein in the hair, so taking its supplements or adding it to food contributes to improving the condition of dry hair, and the best form of taking vitamin A is beta-carotene, which turns into vitamin A in the body, and from foods containing vitamin A: eggs, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, oranges, liver, papaya, and turnips. 


Vitamin B7 or biotin: it is an element of the B vitamin family, which is essential in the metabolism process that provides nutrients for hair health, dry hair is evidence of biotin deficiency, so it is recommended to take vitamin B complex supplements that contain 50 mcg of biotin with other B vitamins, and from foods rich in biotin: Brewer's yeast, corn, eggs, broccoli, cauliflower, fish, mushrooms, legumes, wheat bran, soy. 


Vitamin E: Vitamin E supplements can relieve dry hair, it works in two ways, namely: reducing platelet aggregation, and improving blood flow to the scalp, thereby bringing nutrients and oxygen that are needed for hair health, in addition to neutralizing toxins and chemicals, it contains high levels of antioxidants, and foods rich in vitamin E: nuts, seeds, vegetable oils, and soybeans.
