Garlic is a very common herbaceous plant, and its scientific name is Allium sativum, and it belongs to the family of onions, leeks, and green onions, and the head of garlic contains many cloves, each of which is located in a paper-like Shell, and its color can be white, or purple, and it is a bit hard.

And garlic has a tart taste, and a strong aroma, and also gives a characteristic flavor to food. 


Garlic often requires low temperatures to grow, but many studies have shown that garlic found in tropical regions grows better than other types, and garlic grows better in temperate regions that are not too hot, or too low.

  • Reduce acne arising due to the accumulation of toxins that lead to clogging of pores; because garlic contains anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, it is a powerful antioxidant. 
  • Reducing the symptoms of psoriasis, which is an autoimmune skin disease, where the affected person shows several symptoms such as redness, itching, and flaking of the scalp, elbows, and knees, so the consumption of garlic reduces its effect due to being a powerful anti-inflammatory. 
  • Protect the skin from UV damage, delay aging; because it contains antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds contained in it and maintain normal skin cells. 
  • Reduce stretch marks, and cracks that one can experience.

Garlic is one of the natural remedies for acne; because of its antibacterial properties, it can be used as a topical treatment. And the method is:


 Ingredients: 

  • Two to three cloves of garlic. 
  • Pour some water or use aloe vera gel.
  • A piece of cotton.

 
Method of preparation: 

  • Mash the garlic cloves, then mix with water for 10 minutes. 
  • A cotton swab is dipped in the mixture and then applied to the stains. 


Note: it is recommended to eat between one to two cloves of garlic per day.

Garlic has anti-aging properties and helps to improve the appearance of the skin, in addition, it reduces inflammation, this recipe is used to get rid of stretch marks on the skin, and cracks. 


And the method is:

 Ingredients: 

  • A few cloves of garlic. 
  • Bandages. 


Method of preparation:

  • Garlic is finely mashed, and then applied to the skin marks, and cracks. 
  • The area is covered with bandages for a whole night. 
  • Wash off early in the morning. 
  • Repeat this recipe until the skin tags, cracks, shrink and disappear.

  • Prevention of food poisoning: garlic contains strong antibacterial properties, as some studies have found that garlic helps to kill bacteria such as salmonella, and it helps the body's immune system to fight disease and infection. 
  • Reducing blood pressure: garlic reduces blood pressure in two ways: it blocks the activity of a substance called angiotensin 2, which makes blood vessels contract, or in another and opposite way, it releases hydrogen sulfide, which dilates blood vessels. 
  • Athlete's foot treatment: garlic has antifungal properties, as it helps to treat athlete's foot by applying garlic directly to the affected area, or by soaking the foot in garlic water to kill the fungal infection that causes it. 
  • Heart protection: garlic helps protect the heart from diseases, maintains the ability of the arteries to expand with age, protects against atherosclerosis as it helps to stop the formation of blood clots in the blood vessels, and prevents blood clotting.
  •  Anti-inflammatory: it gets rid of inflammation, ulcers, and acne, and can be used to treat psoriasis, soothe toothaches, and strengthen the immune system.
